Jasmine Loh

Repair Technician

Jasmine grew up on the BC coast and spent 10 years working at MEC Vancouver learning about, and working with, outdoor products and fabrics. She then applied that knowledge to her roll as a National Outdoor Leadership School instructor and sea kayaking guide. Her many trips were excellent testing grounds for the durability and quality of gear and she became proficient at field repairs. With decades of experience fixing outdoor equipment for herself and others, Jasmine now leads a Kimberley-based company focused on keeping good gear going. She has taken the “Introduction to Warranty Level Repairs” sewing course at Gear re-Store in Calgary and her motto is “Stitch it. Don’t pitch it.”
