Lloyd Vogel is the CEO and Co-founder of Garage Grown Gear, an online marketplace championing small and startup outdoor brands. A lifelong Midwesterner, Lloyd found his love for the outdoors paddling the lakes and streams of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Originally a high school special education teacher, he brings a relationship-first, people-centred approach to business. Under his leadership, GGG has grown into a collaborative hub for the ultralight and cottage gear community. A self-described “ultralight weenie,” Lloyd is a fierce advocate for small businesses and the outdoor entrepreneurs shaping the future of gear.
