Round The Mountain’s “Electrify
The Trails” Photo Journal

On June 23 KORE co-hosted the “Electrify The Mountain Trails” initiative during the Round The Mountain (RTM) weekend event in Kimberley, British Columbia.

RTM is a family festival that includes hiking, running, and mountain biking challenges on Saturday and the following day Kimberley’s mayor Don McCormick officially opened a new network of trails at the Kimberley Nordic Lodge that are fully accessible and ebike friendly.

Sponsored by the Kootenay Trails Society, the City of Kimberley and KORE, the “Electrify The Mountain Trails” event included a gear showcase that featured the following KORE members:

Aside from the KORE makers there were other demo tents where attendees could examine the latest trail running footwear and electric bikes. At 11am the Kootenay Freewheelers hosted a group ride and Purcell Outdoors hosted a group run.

At 1pm Mayor Don McCormick cut the ribbon to officially open the new trail network.

KORE gratefully acknowledges the financial participation from the Province of BC and Emotive BC and thanks the following for their support: Kimberley Trails Society, Black Dog Cycle and Ski, Overtime Beer Works, City of Kimberley, and Purcell Outdoors.
