Give us a brief description of your manufacturing processes and philosophy
We’ve partnered with three overseas manufacturers to produce our components, using moulds that we own and control. Once the parts are shipped to us, we complete the final assembly and conduct quality control in-house to ensure consistency and reliability. By sourcing overseas, we are able to keep costs down while maintaining high-quality standards, making our product accessible to more customers. Our design and functionality are guided by real-world end user feedback, ensuring the product is as practical and effective as possible.
How many employees and/or contractors do you work with?
My wife and I are the only ones working for the business.
What brought you to the Kootenays and how long have you been here?
I grew up in Creston, BC, spent five years in Calgary pursuing my career, and returned to Creston in 2016.
Tell us about the history and relative work experience of your founder(s).
I began my career over 15 years ago as a Machinist, which eventually led me into the Millwright trade. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience designing industrial equipment using CAD software. The combination of design expertise and industrial background has made the headlamp development relatively straight forward.
Describe the mission, vision, goals, and aspirations of your company.
Our goal is to reach outdoor enthusiasts across North America by providing practical, reliable lighting solutions. We aim to grow our product line based on customer feedback, ensuring that each new design is user-driven, affordable, and built for real-world performance.
