We specialize in sustainable power banks and battery technology.
Give us a brief description of your manufacturing processes and philosophy.
We aim to empower the adventurer by powering their next journey. Our first product, the JuiceBox, is the world’s first repairable battery pack that is designed to last the adventurer a lifetime. When the battery cells die, they can simply be replaced. The unit will also be the lightest, most compact, and resilient on the market thanks to our custom innovative internal electronic design. We’re putting sustainability back in the hands of the customer with a Canadian-made device.
How many employees and/or contractors do you work with?
Four founders and two contractors.
What brought you to the Kootenays and how long have you been here?
Roger came for the skiing and stayed for the running. He’s lived in Rossland for three years.
Tell us about the history and relative work experience of your founder(s).
We are a group of business school graduates and engineers from the University of Calgary. We met while making electric race motorcycles at a university club called Team Zeus.
Describe the mission, vision, goals, and aspirations of your company.
We want to build a business that generates positive environmental impact by creating sustainable products that also help the customer achieve their aspirational goals, guilt free. When our business has grown and cashflows have increased, we hope to bring an innovative spark to our local communities by hiring key individuals and growing the maker space around us.
