I’m the senior design engineer for Norco Bicycles, which makes a full line of bicycles including mountain, city, kids, gravel, road, lifestyle and electric assist.

Give us a brief description of your manufacturing processes and philosophy.

Our bicycle frames are designed in Canada and manufactured to high standards and then assembled into complete bicycles using our partners in Asia.

How many employees and/or contractors do you work with?

LTP Sports Group Inc, the parent company of Norco Bicycles, has approximately 175 employees globally.

What brought you to the Kootenays and how long have you been here?

We moved our family to the Kootenays from the Lower Mainland to make a better life for our family.

Northern Cycle Co. (now Norco) was founded in 1964 by Bert Lewis and is privately owned.
