Give us a brief description of your manufacturing processes and philosophy.
We use a patented process to dehydrate cheese, allowing people to enjoy cheese on the go without the need for refrigeration. Zero carbs, high protein, and all natural ingredients.

What brought you to the Kootenays and how long have you been here?
Bruce came for the snow 20+ years ago.
Tell us about the history and relative work experience of your founder(s).
After spending years in the food and beverage industry, Bruce had the opportunity to start a business using patented dehydration technology. In 2017 Mountain Munchies Inc. was founded and after a year of research and development, cheese was chosen to dehydrate as there was only one other company doing the same product using similar technology in the world at that time. A year later Mountain Munchies Inc was a federally inspected dairy allowing the company to sell its products nationwide and globally. In 2019 Mountain Munchies was a finalist for Most Innovative Company by Small Business BC. Enercheez® is now nationwide in well-known retailers such as MEC, Winners, Homesense, Sobeys, Save on Foods and many others.

We pride ourselves on making healthy snacks that are easy to take anywhere. We are growing rapidly and hope to export to other countries once our expansion plans are completed.
