- Car camping accessory that adds useable sleeping space to most vehicles. The Backseat Bivy has turned a lot of vehicles from uncomfortable car campers to restful cozy camper vans without the high cost of a camper conversion.

- Currently just working with manufacturers but we are trying to align with an ethical manufacturer (environmentally, human rights)

- 3 co-founders and 1 contractor
What brought you to the Kootenays and how long have you been here?
- My passion for the outdoors brought me to the Kootenays. The mountain lifestyle here is truly outstanding.
Tell us about the history and relative work experience of your founder(s).
Nick Haycock- CPA (CA), articled to be a Chartered Accountant back in Alberta, worked in the aviation industry in corporate finance in Calgary for five plus years. The past three years has worked at Whitewater Ski Resort as the Financial Controller, and loves working in the outdoor industry learning about its unique place in the global marketplace.
Oyinkan Obikoya- CPA (CA) articled to be a Chartered Accountant in Saskatchewan and worked as a Manager at Deloitte until moving to Calgary. The past eight years she has worked her way into executive level roles in the airline industry, learning the ins and outs of international business.
Peter Root- Moved to Calgary from Vancouver Island to work as an engineer. He has worked
on many complex projects designing new automated industrial equipment. Growing up in BC his passion for an outdoor lifestyle that includes skiing, hiking, caving, and climbing has driven him to want to learn more about creating products that add value to the outdoor space.
