We’re all about making fun rides that will survive Kootenay gnar.

Give us a brief description of your manufacturing processes and philosophy and how many employees and contractors you work with.

I focus on hand-made steel mountain bikes and currently I’m the only employee.

What brought you to the Kootenays and how long have you been here?

The riding and snowboarding brought me to Rossland 15 years ago from Lethbridge, Alberta. There is a lot more respect for someone who fixes and works on bikes in the Kootenays and throughout BC.

Tell us about the history and relative work experience of your founder(s).

I have been a bike mechanic for 21 years. Yikes! I’ve also dabbled in art projects, painting and sculpture. I also like repurposing old gear into other things like bikes, skis, or whatever. Sometimes they’re serious and sometimes they’re funny.

Describe the mission, vision, goals, and aspirations of your company.

My goal is to build bikes that stand the test of time. They are what you want with a geometry that’s suited for the terrain you’ll be riding in. Aplomb equals strength, finesse, and skill and my goals are to hone my craft, become more efficient and have the tools to make anything happen. I’m currently making aggressive hardtails but am scheming a Kootenay-shredding, full suspension that will crush the chunder and be playful on the jumps.
