The purpose of the Invest Kimberely-Cranbrook tour is to give KORE Summit attendees the opportunity to see first hand what the cities have to offer in commercial, light-industrial, residential and tourism-centric neighbourhoods. A max of 15 people can take part in this tour, offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

The bus will leave from the Trickle Creek Lodge at 9am and tour Kimberely. That will be followed by a complimentary lunch at the world-class St. Eugene Golf Course. The second part will include the Aqam community and Cranbrook. Participants must register in advance.

This free tour is made available thanks to the financial contributions of the City of Kimberley and the City of Cranbrook.

KIMBERLEY

Kimberley’s economic development strategy leans heavily on using its natural assets as a business attractant. With virtually all gear manufacturers designing and manufacturing gear for environments exactly like those surrounding Kimberley, this is the ideal place to consider a start-up or expansion of an outdoor recreation business. AQAM COMMUNITY

The tour will stop for a one-hour lunch at the St. Eugene Resort located in Aqam, a First Nations community situated within the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa Nation. The meal will be followed by a short investment attraction video.

CRANBROOK

Known as the base camp of the Kootenays, Cranbrook is the largest urban centre and regional focal point in southeastern B.C. We provide support to help your business establish and grow in Cranbrook. We have access to important market research and business intelligence while working actively to facilitate local connections to help support the establishment of your business in the most dynamic and innovative city in the Kootenays. In short, we are the hub and economic engine for the Kootenays. The tour will focus on available land and active developments, key sectors such as aerospace and hospitality, high-density residential development, and capital works projects in 2024.
