Vince Hempsall

On June 28 and 29, Kimberley’s downtown Platzl will transform into a celebration of mountain culture with KOREfest + Localpalooza — a two-day event packed with live music, innovative gear makers, and family-friendly fun.

Brought to you by KORE and Centre64, this outdoor gear and music festival is sure to entertain music lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and those just keen to connect with the vibrant Kootenay community.

At the heart of the festival is a showcase of Kootenay-based outdoor gear brands, each bringing their latest creations to the plaza. They include Kootenay Mountain Boats, Northern Teardrop Trailer, Après Skied, Ghostrider Equipment, Dark Horse Innovations, Lynx OGT and Shishka Sleeping Bags among others. Come meet the makers, try out new gear, and get inspired by the ingenuity driving BC’s outdoor economy.
