KORE is proud to be partnering with the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival this year and will be attending the festival from Oct 28 to Nov 5 to showcase the outdoor gear being created here in the Kootenays.
As part of the partnership, KORE will have a booth on the first floor of the Kinnear Centre at the Banff Centre, where a custom display will showcase equipment designed and manufactured by Kootenay-based entrepreneurs, from backpacks and tents to skis and headlamps.
KORE will also be hosting a Campfire Coffee Talk on the patio of the Jenny Belzberg Theatre on November 4th at 10 AM where attendees can meet craft gear makers in person, learn about the creation process, and discover tricks for improving the longevity of outdoor equipment.
The partnership with the Banff Mountain Festival is a component of the ETSI-BC funded Kootenay Approved campaign, which not only recognizes the outdoor equipment created in the Kootenays, one of the most renowned mountain regions in the world, but also celebrates the unique way of life in this area of British Columbia.
