Originally from Smithers, British Columbia and now a resident of Hood River, Oregon, Nicole Bassett has held sustainability and human rights roles at prAna, Patagonia, and Specialized Bicycles. Today, she is a leader in circular business models having worked with the likes of Citrus Circular, Close Loop Partners, and Cascade Circular. She co-founded The Renewal Workshop, which was acquired by Bleckmann in 2022, and then led its global circularity strategy. That same year she was named a Vogue Business 100 Innovator in Sustainability. Nicole holds a Master’s in Environmental Studies focused on business strategy and sustainability from York University in Toronto.
